![]() Santa Rosa, California - American Wild Ale - 6.0% ABV - This outstanding sour ale poured a hazy, straw-gold color with a small layer of pale white foam that dissipates immediately. The nose featured tart aromas of apples, vinegar, lemon zest, and oak with a distinct earthy undertone. The mouth was splendid; puckering flavors of apples, lemon juice, grains, tart grapes, and oak notes create an enamel eroding taste. Beatification has a medium-minus mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, and smooth, crisp finish that brings a sour vengeance to the palate. This is my new favorite sour from Russian River; the acidity on this wild ale is on point. Cheers! 10/10
