![]() Brooklyn Center, Minnesota - Imperial Black IPA - 9.99 ABV - This black as night IPA poured a syrupy, opaque black color, with a khaki colored, frothy head. The nose featured inviting aromas of roasted malts, resinous pine, burnt caramel, and dank herbal notes that burst right out of the can. The mouth featured delicious flavors of citrus and pine hops up front, with a backend full of toasted caramel, roasted malts, and a slight smokiness. Blakkr has a thick, heavy-bodied mouthfeel, with a silky, balanced finish that coats the palate nicely. This was a great representation of an Imperial Black IPA that I recommend to all. Cheers! 9.3/10
