![]() Buellton, California - American Brown Ale - 6.00% ABV - This tasty brown ale poured a dark, maple brown color with a small khaki colored head that leaves excellent lacing. The nose was true to style; aromas of nutty malts, roasted caramel, hints of coffee, and cocoa nibs create a balanced bouquet. The mouth featured flavors of light caramel, toasted malts, bitter chocolate, slight pine, and a dash of earthy notes that create a crisp taste. Davy Brown has a medium-minus mouthfeel, with a clean and smooth finish that gives me everything I look for in a Brown Ale. This is my second brew from Figueroa, and they have certainly impressed me thus far. Thank you to Vince and Katy for sharing, Cheers! 8.5/10

![]() Milton, Delaware - Brown Ale - 12.0% ABV - This tasteful ale poured a rusty black color with a fluffy brown head. Aromas of smokey wood, mixed nuts, figs, sweet malts, and alcohol mesh beautifully on the nose. The taste is certainly unique giving off woody notes of vanilla, roasted malts, pecans, caramel, and coffee flavors. The mouth is silky like a stout and offers a long finish. Cheers! 4.4/5 ![]() Rye Ale - 8.0% ABV - This poured a reddish Brown color with a khaki colored head. The nose has a bouquet of rye malts, roasted malts, dark fruit, as well as some funky yeast aromas. The taste has characteristics of dark fruit, complex malts, and a mouthful of rye. This brew is extremely balanced and I highly recommend it for Rye lovers. 4,45/5 |
