
![]() Alpine, California - American Pale Ale - 5.25% ABV - This hop-blasted Pale Ale poured a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a small layer of white foam that lines the glass. The nose featured aromas of hops, hops, and more hops; fresh pine and grapefruit are prevalent upfront, with undertones of oranges and malts. The mouth was excellent; flavors of bitter oranges, guava, grapefruit, and pine burst into the mouth with each sip. The mouthfeel was medium-minus bodied with a clean, crisp, and hoppy finish that has a nice caramel backbone. This Pale Ale is almost perfect to style; it's certainly up there with Zombie Dust and PseudoSue. Cheers! 9.9/10

![]() Munster, Indiana - American Pale Ale - 6.66% ABV - This hop-forward Pale Ale poured a clear, dark amber color with a frothy white head that leaves excellent lacing on the glass. The nose featured pungent aromas of resinous pine, fresh citrus, jasmine flowers, and subtle grapefruit that blend together nicely. The mouth was solid; flavors of blood oranges, bitter grapefruit, pine, and sweet caramel come together to create a balanced taste. The mouthfeel was medium-minus bodied with a long and flavorful finish that leaves it's mark on the palate. Three Floyds certainly knows what they're doing with brewing Pale Ales, cheers! 9.4/10 ![]() Paso Robles, California - American Pale Ale - 4.90% ABV - This refreshing Pale Ale poured a clear, golden orange color, with a fluffy white head that leaves decent lacing on the glass. The nose featured crisp aromas of lemon peel, grass, and slight pine upfront, with a bready malt backbone. The mouth was okay; flavors of lemon zest, lemongrass, bitter grapefruit, pine, and biscuity malts create a refreshing taste. Pale 31 has a light bodied mouthfeel, with a finish that is subtle and perfect for a hot summer day. This isn't particularly my favorite Pale Ale, but I do recommend it to those who haven't tried it. Cheers! 8.2/10 ![]() København, Denmark - American Pale Ale - 5.50% ABV - This ale poured a hazy, straw-gold color with a frothy white head that holds well. The nose featured aromas of freshly cut oranges, lemon peel, bitter grapefruit, and bready malts. The mouth was okay; flavors of grapefruit, honey, pineapple, earthy pine, and biscuity malts are prevalent throughout the brew. The mouthfeel has a light body, with a crisp and clean finish. Hipster Ale was a decent beer, perhaps it would be better a bit more fresh. I enjoyed this brew at Congregation Ale House in Azusa, CA- it's such a great place. The food is great too. Cheers! 7.2/10 ![]() Decorah, Iowa - American Pale Ale - 7.00% ABV - This delicious Pale Ale poured a murky, golden-orange haze color with a frothy white head that holds nicely. The Sue smells stellar; aromas of juicy oranges, freshly squeezed lemons, ripe mango, apple slices, and sweet malts create a noteworthy nose. The mouth was solid as well; hop forward flavors of tangerine, crisp pears, lemongrass, mango, and biscuity malts create one of the most balanced tasting Pale Ales that I've ever had. The mouthfeel was medium minus, with a clean and crisp finish that keeps you wanting more. This brew outshines Zombie Dust and any other Pale Ale out there. Thanks to my man @billylightning for getting this out to me. Cheers! 10/10 ![]() Longmont, Colorado - American Pale Ale - 6.5% ABV - This classic Pale Ale poured a murky, dark orange color with a frothy white head. The nose featured aromas of sweet malts, caramel, and bread-like scents while having undertones of citrus hops. The mouth was so smooth; sweet malts and caramel are big up front, with a slightly hoppy back end that keeps you wanting more. The mouth feel was medium-minus with a crisp finish. This Pale Ale is perfect for anytime, especially during a friendly game of Bocce Ball. The aromatics on this tasty brew set it apart from any other Pale Ale; scents of pine and orange zest are prevalent up front, with a back end full of pineapple, pepper, and sweet malts. The mouth featured flavors of distinct citrus hops, followed by pine, earthy spices, and sweet malts to balance it all out. The mouthfeel was medium-minus with crisp and clean finish that makes you salivate for more. This was my first TGB brew, and I'm excited to crack open my PseudoSue and Zee Lander, cheers! 9.7/10 ![]() Munster, Indiana - Pale Wheat Ale - 5.50% ABV - This solid Pale Ale poured a clear, golden orange color, with a frothy white head that holds nicely. The nose featured subtle aromas of wheat, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, while having undertones of bitter earthiness. The mouth was very balanced; flavors of citrus and pine are big up front, followed by wheat and biscuity notes that bring it all together. The mouthfeel was medium-light, with a clean and crisp finish that leaves your thirst quenched. This was a great, sessionable ale that I'd recommend to all.
