![]() Paso Robles, California - Pilsner - 5.30% ABV - This hop-forward Pilsner poured a clear golden-yellow color with a fluffy white head. The nose featured crisp aromas of lager yeast, lemon peel, grassy hops, and bready malts that come together nicely. The mouth was solid; flavors of subtle pine, lemon zest, earthy grains, and floral notes create a clean, sessionable taste. Pivo Pils has a light bodied mouthfeel, with a refreshing, subtle-hop finish that is impressive for a pilsner. I recommend this brew for the upcoming summer heat; it's thirst quenching, and may be one of my favorites in it's style. Cheers! 9.0/10

![]() Longmont, Colorado - Pilsner - 5.3% ABV - This Pilsner poured a clear golden yellow color with a big white head. The nose gave off a classic pilsner aroma; hints of lemon, grass, and some other light yeasty scents. The taste was floral, lightly hopped, and offered a clean crisp feel to the mouth with a light finish. I'm not a big Pilsner drinker, but this one offered more complexity and drinkability than your standard pilsner. 3.3/5 |
