![]() Santa Rosa, California - American Wild Ale (Sour) Aged in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels - 10% ABV - This decadent ale poured a deep maroon color with a layer of white foam. Aromas of oak barrel, vanilla, Cabernet wine, plums, tart blackberries, and other black currents are prevalent on the nose. The mouth features heavy tannins, black cherries, tart blackberries, red wine, and a slight vanilla-oak undertone. The mouth feel is medium bodied with a crisp dry finish. I absolutely loved this brew, but I prefer the Supplication from Russian River over this one. Cheers! 4.8/5
