![]() Paso Robles, California - English Barleywine - 12.00% ABV - The Double DBA poured a hazy, reddish brown color, with a small layer of white foam that dissipates quickly. The nose featured decadent aromas of sweet caramel, coconut, toffee, vanilla, oak, and marshmallows- it's very comparable to the nose of §ucaba. The mouth was excellent. Flavors of toasted caramel, sweet toffee, rich malts, coconut, and oak are big upfront, with a slight boozy undertone. The mouthfeel was medium-plus, with a silky, smooth finish that keeps you wanting more. Double DBA is one of my favorite releases from Firestone in which I recommend to all. Cheers! 9.7/10
