![]() Escondido, California - Imperial/Double IPA - 9.4% ABV - This hop filled Double IPA poured a clear, golden-copper color with a frothy white head that leaves excellent lacing on the glass. Devastatingly dank aromas of resinous pine, guava fruit, grapefruit zest, lemon peel, and sweet malts come together nicely to create a beautiful bouquet of a nose. The mouth featured juicy tropical fruit flavors of pineapple, hints of mango, fresh guava, and resinous pine on the front, while having undertones of bitter grapefruit and malts on the back end. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, while having a zesty, crisp, long finish. Enjoy this delicious DIPA by Independence Day, it may just set you free. It's very balanced, and features a wonderful, tropical fruit hop-profile. 9.7/10
