Hop Shortage - Knee Deep Brewing Company

Picture
Auburn, California - Triple IPA - 11.3% ABV - This hop-full beast poured a clear copper color with a fizzy white head. Intense hops are big upfront on the nose, including aromas of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, resinous pine, and sweet malts on the back end. The mouth features a slight alcohol presence, which isn't much considering the 11.3% ABV, while having dank hop flavors of citrus, mango, pine, and honey. This was truly an interesting beer as it comes off as super hoppy, then balances out towards the end with candied malts. The mouth feel is medium-plus, with a surprisingly smooth finish. Knee Deep does it again with another killer TIPA. It's not quite as good as their Simtra, but it still delivers. There certainly is no Hop Shortage here, Cheers! 9.4/10
