![]() Alpine, California - American Pale Ale - 5.25% ABV - This hop-blasted Pale Ale poured a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a small layer of white foam that lines the glass. The nose featured aromas of hops, hops, and more hops; fresh pine and grapefruit are prevalent upfront, with undertones of oranges and malts. The mouth was excellent; flavors of bitter oranges, guava, grapefruit, and pine burst into the mouth with each sip. The mouthfeel was medium-minus bodied with a clean, crisp, and hoppy finish that has a nice caramel backbone. This Pale Ale is almost perfect to style; it's certainly up there with Zombie Dust and PseudoSue. Cheers! 9.9/10
