![]() Tampa, Florida - India Pale Ale - 7.50% ABV - This unfiltered IPA poured a hazy, copper-orange color, with a frothy white head that leaves excellent lacing on the glass. The nose featured distinct aromas of cedar wood, pungent orange zest, spicy tobacco, and pepper, while having a big malt character. The mouth was interesting; up front, there's a big cedar characteristic, kind of like tasting a cigar box, followed by ripe tropical fruits, with a big malty backbone. This IPA has a medium-bodied mouthfeel, with a crisp, long finish that lingers in the mouth. I loved what Cigar City did with this IPA, however, I like their White Oak Jai Alai better. Cheers to a great IPA by CCB and thanks to my man@mrbryson for getting this out to me! 9.1/10
