![]() Chicago, Illinois - Belgian Style Pale Ale - 7.00% ABV - This Belgian Pale Ale poured a hazy, amber orange color with a small, frothy white head that holds well. The nose featured distinct aromas of Belgian yeast, spicy coriander, cloves, and orange peel, with earthy undertones. The mouth was solid; Belgian yeast is huge up front, followed by flavors of pears, oranges, coriander, pepper, and sweet molasses. Matilda has a medium-minus bodied mouthfeel, with a long finish that makes it's presence on the palate. This is an overall solid beer that is quite refreshing to say the least. Check one out if you have the chance, Cheers! 9.1/10
