Sonoma, California - Red Ale - 6.8% ABV - This ale poured a deep cherry mahogany color with a khaki colored head. The nose had aromas of citrus hop notes that were accompanied by a sweet, bready, caramelized malt flavor - making it extremely balanced. The mouth was full-bodied with medium carbonation. Bear Republic certainly brews some fine ales. 4.45/5
